Sorry she had to go through her ordeal, but good for her! If lawsuits are what it takes to protect children in this crazy country of ours, so be it.

Yes, I see it as the only truly effective way to end all this insanity, and applaud every single one of them for having the courage and fortitude to 'battle this Goliath.'

Yes! Thank you, Layla! Your bravery will help save thousands of future girls and boys from mutilation.

Thanks Christina. Glad to see you still in the fight. After a few of these lawsuits and more whistleblowers like Jamie Reed I expect to see a lot more who follow. I look forward to finally seeing a cultural rethink of this whole sad episode in our history. I look forward to your new Substack.

Correction on the data from the Swedish study of post-op men and women who expressed body dysmorphia and had the surgeries between 1973 and 2003 and were deceased, so this study of death records could be conducted: For females (that is, natal females who thought they should have been male) the SUICIDE RATE was 40 TIMES higher than the control group of Swedish females of the same age. Cecelia Dheine, et al, hid this statistic by combining the natal males whose rate of death by suicide was just less than 19 TIMES higher than the control group of Swedish males, matched for age and other factors. This study was done in 2011. Dr. Stephen B. Levine, who has many pages of Expert Witness Testimony on the internet, brought this hidden data point out in testimony before the Florida Board of Health. It is in videos on the youtube channel called Thoughts on Things and Stuff. Remember, Sweden is one of the most accepting societies, so the "pressure" on post-op individuals could not be construed as causing death by suicide. There was also a slightly statistically significant higher rate of cancers. Colin, am I correct in assuming this meant there were 40 female deaths by suicide in post-op population for every 1 death by suicide in the control group? Thanks

I dont have money to spare at the moment but I wish her and the others good luck on their quest

For Justice. There are too many sitting on their thumbs and not getting involved with this atrocious treatment of our children. I hope it all works out for you XX

13 years old: kids aren't old enough to make reasonable decisions about healthy foods at that age.

Thank you reporting on this and thank you to her for her courage in doing this! I wish her luck and that many of the others who were harmed will be brave enough to come forward!

Most of the older studies were not only older people but had a different set of criteria before medical intervention, and several studies lost a huge number of people to follow up or did not wait the average 5-10 years to detect long term outcomes. Or measured something useless (number of encounters???).

The 1%often quoted was from a study that searched clinic records for mention of regret and those people also has to ask to reverse hormones. Those who stopped coming in for lifetime hormones, 36% of the patients, were simply dropped. They stopped treatment.maybe started somewhere else? This clinic treats 95% of the country.... knows!

Plane company: fewer than 1% of our planes report serious problems.

You: Oh so 99% report all is well?

Plane company: well 36% lost radio contact so we assumed they were fine....

So glad she's suing; the more lawsuits, the better!

Hopefully the floodgates of lawsuits is about to burst open. I’m afraid it might be the only thing that will cause a tap on the brakes.

I now know of seven detransitioners who've sued - Keira Bell, Ritchie Herron, Jay Langadino, Chloe Cole, Camille Kiefel, Michelle Alleva, and now Layla Jane

Who's the 8th?

I thought Kaiser’s bag is preventive care? It was hard to get an Mri when my husband had cancer. How is Kaiser spending the money for this bizarre treatment where healthy body parts are removed? They would not do an eye job but they will do this? I hope these suits stick it to them and make them stop

Thank you for bringing this news to us. We, the family members of people caught in the cult desperately need all the encouragement we can get, and seeing the bravery of Layla and Chloe is amazing. Someday I hope to see my three grandchildren listed among the detransitioners suing for justice. This is what I pray for, and I will keep on praying until this madness is over. Love, Indio

There’s that saying made famous by Susie Green in the UK and our very own transhausen- by- proxy mommy dearest, Jeanette Jennings “would you rather have a dead son or a live daughter (or visa versa) “🤮🤮🤮

It is really sad that it may take heavy lawsuits to get the transgender industry to cease and desist instead of common sense and data. I do not remember a medical controversy when our European colleagues have been so right and our establishment leaders have been so wrong. I appreciate the fact-based material from this site so much. Keep up the life-saving work.
