Chondrolaryngoplasty in transgender women - this survey of 15 people (mean age 31 years old) who did some kind of MTF voice procedure was based on a survey taken prior to the procedure and 6 months after. another meaningless data point. participants and survey information do not support idea that gender affirming is beneficial to kids.

This study was reviewed in Interim Cass review. the cass review found the study doesnt support the claims of the authors. The review found based on this study there is no evidence puberty suppression improves gender dysphoria, body image, depression, anger or anything. The quality of evidence for these outcomes was assessed as very low
certainty using modified GRADE. As per Cass, authors completely misrepresented their findings, a common practise among study authors in this field. the main author vries has a PHD in gender studies and is really the main individual of the WPATH report, where she is cited 79 times. Many of her study subjects are residents of Amsterdam. Amsterdam has a single gov agency that supplies gender affirming care to its residents. This dept has good records of who in their country is recieving gender care. They reported that people receiving gender care have 50% reduced life expectancy and 20X greater suicide rate. This fact contradicts Vries' claims that this care is beneficial.
de vries 2014 - since the 2011 study was such a flop, now de vries uses the same participants for a similar 2014 study. ( she uses them again in 2016) only this time most the participants have dropped out. instead of the 140 or so participants used in 2011 now there are only 55. this is called cooking the books. the study author simply omits participants who dont support a pre determined conclution. and again were supposed to buy the idea that gender care helps when the host country reports people on the "care" have 50% reduced life expectancy.
